Technology and God

Technology is a concept that deals with our ability to manipulate the world around us through tools and other instruments.

God is the creator of all the world, the King of Heaven and Earth. He is the Lord as revealed in the Bible and He created us and gave us the ability to create other things to help us in this world.

Man has been creating technology to help him in this world since the fall of man. After Adam and Eve sinned and were removed from the Garden of Eden man has had to work hard for his food and his protection. The environment itself was working against man and man had to conquer it.

First came things like shovels, the wheel, bows and arrows and other such tools that helped man survive.

As man progressed he created more advanced technology to help him live, like cars and other forms of transportation, the gun and other ways to gather food, and even computers, which help man organize, process and share information.

Information is a central concept to Christianity. The Bible is information that God wants to communicate to us, and in turn, we to the rest of the world so they can hear the good news of Christ. So how do we share information? That is what this blog is all about, using information technology in our daily lives to glorify God and to share the good news of the Gospel.
